當天晚上約9點15分，一名34歲的男子在Ryde區Blaxland Rd的一家購物中心內的ATM機上試圖存款時遭到搶劫。肇事者開着一輛白色斯巴魯翼豹汽車離開。
11月2日星期三晚些時候，一名20歲的女子正在Auburn Rd的一家藥店工作處理現金時，一名男子靠近她索要現金，搶劫後開着一輛白色斯巴魯翼豹離開了。
11月10日星期四，一名44歲的婦女被一男子毆打胸部和腹部後搶走現金，該男子隨即駕車離開。
據稱，嫌犯每次都持有武器。
警方隨後在Riverwood區Virginia St的一個單元街區逮捕了一名39歲的男子，並沒收了一輛白色斯巴魯翼豹，該車將接受法醫檢查。
該男子被控持攻擊性武器搶劫、嚴重搶劫、攜危險武器搶劫和嚴重搶劫三項罪名。
嫌犯被拒絕保釋，11月11日在Bankstown地方法院出庭。
