隨着中國地方銀行財政的緊缺，中國儲戶們取錢也變得越來越困難。尤其是死者的家屬，有的人被刁難到懷疑人生。日前，網上有消息稱，佛山一儲戶的家屬因被銀行刁難，被迫抬棺到銀行「親自」辦理業務。
10月30日，網上流傳的一段視頻顯示，在「順德農商銀行」門前，眾人抬着一副棺材，將其放在地上，銀行一名職員在街邊等待，在查看棺材之後，與一名疑似全身孝服的死者家屬交涉。
有知情網友稱，事發佛山市順德區龍江鎮舊街口，因銀行拒絕死者家屬取錢，一定要本人前來「辦理」，於是家屬就用棺材把「本人」抬來了。
事件引發廣泛關注，大多網友痛罵銀行「不做人」，稱這個社會已畸變到匪夷所思的程度了。
隨着事件的發酵，大陸網絡開始維穩，相關信息被刪除。
對於家屬的作法，不少人表示，中國傳統就是死者為大，如果不是被逼到極點，家屬怎會如此？
還有網友爆料，這家銀行還留了一點餘地，此前也出現過取公積金要本人辦理的情況，家屬將死者的骨灰盒拿來，結果銀行職員要求「本人簽字」。
根據中國相關的法律法規，已故存款人的配偶、父母、子女憑已故存款人的死亡證明、可表明親屬關係的文件以及本人有效身分證件，即可查詢死者賬戶餘額，也可提取小額存款。如果要提取大額存款，還需要公證處提供的繼承公證書。
但事實上，存款人去世，家屬取錢難的現象已經持續好多年，早在幾年前，新華社還報導過相關事件。除此之外，大大小小的媒體也報導了不少，問題卻一直沒有得到解決，從陸媒的報導中來看，近年，這一現象更加嚴重。比如有一女子稱，她贍養多年的姑姑去世後，銀行直言她沒有繼承權，她姑姑的存款「應該屬於國家」。
其實不僅僅是死者，生者取款也不容易。當局規定，儲戶取出大額存款需要預約和報備。近期，多家銀行又以「防詐騙洗錢」為由，限制用戶的「消費上限。另外，儲戶存款被盜，被挪用，銀行爆雷等事件頻發。
河南幾家村鎮銀行儲戶的存款被凍結。在經過艱苦抗爭之後，部分小額存款被墊付。但網傳消息稱，大額存款依然被當局定性為「非法集資」，拒絕支付。
