Netflix提供的資料表示，《星期三》上架28天，全球觀看時數就達12.37億次，共有1.82億個家庭看過此影集，也是繼《怪奇物語》第4季和《魷魚遊戲》後第3部創下紀錄，成為Netflix全球排行榜英語影集排行榜史上最受歡迎影集第2名。
《星期三》也二度打破Netflix英語影集單周觀影時數最高的紀錄，第一周以全球3.41億個觀影小時刷新紀錄登上第一名，隔周也以超過4.11億個小時的驚人數字再創新高，連續6周的每周觀賞時數都破億。女主角珍娜‧奧蒂嘉（Jenna Ortega）進而爆紅，飾演星期三時獨特的妝容教學影片在TikTok上被粉絲們搜索、觀看超過1億次，現象級熱潮威力無邊！
Netflix除公布續訂《星期三》第2季之外，還公開了一段續訂新一季影集的介紹影片，影片中可看到搶先預告了《星期三》第2季將會有更多絕望與折磨等著到來，讓粉絲超級期待這位業餘少女偵探還會面臨什麼詭異情事，珍娜‧奧蒂嘉在接受Tudum.com訪問時表示：「星期三是個會堅持自己立場的人，她不想取悅任何人，而我曾經是個凡事都想討好他人的人，所以我真的很佩服她！」
