本傳奇樂團 Yellow Magic Orchestra 成員高橋幸宏（Yukihiro Takahashi）於 1 月 14 日發布訃文證實逝世，享壽 70 歲。
日本共同社、每日體育報導，相關人士16日透露，曾擔任日本「黃色魔術交響樂團」（Yellow Magic Orchestra，簡稱YMO）鼓手，且在其他樂團等表現活躍的音樂人高橋幸宏已逝世，享壽70歲。
為日本知名音樂創作者、歌手、鼓手、時裝設計師及作家的高橋幸宏，與細野晴臣、坂本龍一共組 Yellow Magic Orchestra（YMO），在 1980 晚期至 1990 年代早期對於電子合成及 Acid House 音樂有著深遠顯著的影響，同時也是 Sadistic Mika Band 與 METAFIVE 等團成員，此外更曾與山本耀司攜手打造聯名時裝系列，可為橫跨時裝及音樂界的佼佼者。
高橋幸宏的死因與逝世日期並未完整公開，三年前曾經歷一場腦瘤手術，爾後變鮮少曝光在螢光幕面前。坂本龍一於個人 Instagram 發布一則無字貼文，藉由高橋幸宏經常著用的灰色來悼念這名人生摯友。
據悉，高橋幸宏在2020年初曾感到頭痛，被診斷出腦部有腫瘤，雖然經過手術切除，短暫恢復表演，但身體狀況大不如前，就連去年9月希望能舉辦出道50周年的演出都受到影響，無法如願。此外，去年6月初，高橋幸宏曾在社群平台上慶祝70歲生日時，也吐露自己的身體狀況，又要開始別的治療等等，讓粉絲相當憂心。
