路透社报导，巴基斯坦军方表示，6月10日，1架米尔（Mil）Mi-17直升机因技术故障坠毁，至少有22名巴基斯坦军方人员在事故中罹难。坠毁地点是受巴基斯坦控制的克什米尔地区（Kashmir）。当局已下令调查确切事故原因。

现场拍摄到的画面显示，建筑物后方的坠机地点升起浓密黑烟。

根据消息人士说法，22名罹难者为19名士兵、1名陆军少校和2名上校，当局已在巴属克什米尔首府穆萨法拉巴德（Muzaffarabad）为他们举行隆重丧礼及送葬队伍。

巴属克什米尔近期因公民社会团体联盟遭到禁止，支持者与安全部队爆发冲突，7日至少有11人因此丧生，使得全区正受到严格安全管制。
