一位21岁的粉丝Lisette Buckle表示，在场馆外等候时自己就担心歌迷可能会在推搡中受伤。
维州医疗救护机构（Ambulance Victoria）证实，晚上7点20分左右曾接到Join Cain Arena体育馆外发生事故的电话，但由于没有严重受伤的报告，救援电话被取消了。
不少民众在社交媒体上抱怨此次活动的策划和安全性很差。一位粉丝的家长在推特上写道：“门一开，一大群男男女女的暴徒就冲了进来”，“但保安却没采取任何行动。”
也有人表示这场音乐会是自己“参加过组织得最差的活动”，“甚至不像一场音乐会”，“像是一场恐慌的爆发”。
20岁的歌迷Georgia Martin表示，她对演唱会主办方Frontier Touring和墨尔本奥林匹克公园对演唱会的处理感到失望。
她说：“管理层低估了活动的需求”，“对于定期举办此类活动的体育馆来说，做得不够好。”
针对周二晚上发生的事件，John Cain Arena体育馆经理、墨尔本奥林匹克公园和演唱会主办方Frontier Touring在周三下午发表了联合声明。
