墨爾本一列地鐵列車6月1日發生事故，車廂內傳出爆裂聲響，乘客紛紛驚呼並低頭躲避，以確保自身安全。
事故發生於下午約6時，地點位於 North Melbourne 附近的 Craigieburn 線列車上。車廂內接連傳出數次巨大的爆裂聲及噼啪聲。
據九號台報導，車廂內有火花閃現，並有煙霧瀰漫。
乘客發出驚呼和尖叫聲，並試圖尋找安全位置躲避。
墨爾本地鐵公司（Metro Trains）表示，該事件是由「架空電力系統故障」（overhead power fault）引起，並提醒乘客，列車可能會在月台或兩站之間停留較長時間。
拍攝到爆裂畫面的列車乘客被困約一小時。
其後，墨爾本地鐵公司在社交平台 X 上表示，事件已獲解決，但提醒乘客當晚稍後時間列車服務仍可能出現輕微延誤。
該事件中無人受傷。
