澳政府再设特别委员会 调查微信抖音安全风险

澳洲参议院同意重新设立外国社交媒体干预问题特别委员会，来审查总部设在专制国家的社交媒体的活动，如抖音（TikTok）和微信（Wechat）等，以及专制政权如何成功地将Twitter、Facebook和YouTube等西方社媒武器化，试图干涉澳大利亚的民主，压制异议者。

澳洲参议院曾在2019年12月5日首次成立特别委员会，调查和报告外国通过社媒干预澳洲民主的风险。但由于2022年联邦大选后政府更迭，这个特别委员会失效。

参议员James Paterson周四（11月24日）发表声明公布了这个消息，他表示，澳洲2018年在应对外国干预和间谍活动的改革引领了世界，现在世界上志同道合的国家都在采用这些举措。但由网络支持的外国干预是一个独特的挑战，这方面需要进一步的改革。

Paterson此前在脸书上发文说，“中共在网上骚扰研究人员、记者和异议活动家，试图通过恐吓让他们闭嘴。这种外国通过网络、包括通过西方社媒平台对民主的干预，是完全不可接受的，必须停止。” 

澳洲战略政策研究所（ASPI）11月7日发布了一份调查报告，揭露了北京利用社媒发起了一场攻击、散布虚假信息的宣传运动，封杀一些批评中共的女性，其中包括ASPI的研究人员许秀中（Vicky Xu）女士。

此前，ASPI还发布了一份题为 “边疆网红：中国意识形态宣传的新面孔”研究报告，揭露了中共如何利用网红进行虚假宣传，粉饰其人权劣迹。

新的特别委员会将在2023年8月1日前提交报告。
