11月2日，美国国会暨行政当局中国委员会（CECC）发布推文，表达了对中国网球名将彭帅及中国女性权益的关切。
“一年前彭帅指控张高丽性侵。”该帖文说：“虽然张高丽在中共二十大上备受瞩目，但彭帅仍然失踪，这是一个不可接受的事实，25年来第一次没有女性在中共的24名政治局委员中任职。”

彭帅事件一周年 国际多方表关切
国际女子网球协会巡回赛主席兼首席执行官史蒂夫·西蒙（Steve Simon）本周二接受美联社采访表示，希望中国能够就彭帅的指控进行全面而透明的调查，并希望有机会与她进行交流。
西蒙说：“真实的情况是什么？这是我们所要求的。彭帅显然鼓起很大勇气站出来发声，所涉及的原则与我们组织的立场是一致的。我们要求进行调查，以了解什么发生了，什么没发生，然后妥善处理。”
去年12月初，西蒙出于对彭帅的担忧和支持，宣布暂停了在中国举行的一切赛事。
中国人权律师滕彪在接受自由亚洲电台采访时分析说，中国不会就彭帅事件展开调查，张高丽更不会受到任何处罚。
滕彪说：“一个网球明星没有任何政治权力。作为一个中国公民去控告卸任的政治局常委，这种事情是没有发生过的。因为在中国，公权力是不受到限制的。政治局常委这个级别的，他们做了任何违法犯罪的事情，不太有任何可能去追究他们的责任，除非他们在政治斗争中失利。”
彭帅指控张高丽性侵始末
去年11月2日，中国网球名将彭帅公开指控前中共中央政治局常委兼前中国国务院副总理张高丽性侵。
据彭帅在新浪微博发布的文章披露，她与张高丽结识于2012年之前，张高丽时任天津市委书记。彭帅表示，就在那时，张高丽胁迫她发生性关系。张高丽于2012年晋升为政治局常委，二人一度断绝联系。2018年，彭帅应邀与退休的张高丽在北京打球，再次受到他的性胁迫，与此同时，张高丽妻子在门外“帮守”。
“我原本没有同意，一直哭，”彭帅写道。“我不该来到这个世界，可又没有勇气去死。”
该文一经发布，引起舆论广泛关注。20多分钟后，该文遭到中国官方删除，相关关键词也被禁止搜索。
滕彪说：“共产党是不会对这件事进行调查的，他们把这个事当作一件政治上非常敏感的事情，因为涉及到共产党的合法性。”
中国外交部坚称彭帅事件并非外交议题。外交部发言人赵立坚曾要求外界停止对彭帅事件进行“恶意渲染”并将其“政治化”。
去年11月20日，网络上流传彭帅在朋友圈发布的近照，她的行踪在丑闻曝光后首次为外界得知，但其真实性引来国内外质疑。隔日，中国官方安排彭帅与国际奥林匹克委员会多位高层进行视频通话，以证明彭帅人身自由未受到限制。今年2月3日，北京冬奥会期间，彭帅在北京与国际奥委会主席巴赫会面。此后至今，再无人得知彭帅的真实情况。
在上月中旬召开的中共二十大上，张高丽高调现身会场，似乎并未因彭帅事件受到任何惩处。这是他自彭帅公开对他提起指控以来的首次露面。
曾因拍摄徐州铁链女视频而遭到打压的前中国媒体人赵兰健同样认为，近代中国每个恶性案件不了了之是必然结果，彭帅事件亦是如此。
他说：“这个事件我想我们应该看到它的本质。在一尊为主的集权的社会体制下，别说是一般的人权，就是妇权、女权和童权都会在这种打压和管制之下扭曲变形。中国的社会结构是一个集权化的，在这种结构下权利都会被碾压。”
据自由亚洲电台此前报道，中国全国人大于10月30日通过修订《妇女权益保护法》，并计划于明年1月1日起实施。虽然修订过的该法指导国家采取措施，消除对妇女一切形式的歧视，但二十大新产生的中共中央政治局24名委员中，没有一位女性的身影。外界注意到，该修订草案规定媒体报道涉及妇女事件时应客观、适度，舆论普遍认为官方可能会以过度渲染、侵害女性隐私和人格权为由，迫使维权的女性噤声。
