柯基犬以小短腿、爱心形状的大屁股吸粉无数，它们走起路来一扭一扭的，过分可爱的外表总会让人有饲养的冲动。柯基犬喜欢探索新鲜事物，又很容易与家人打成一片，在人们的心中堪称“完美狗狗”，近年来备受欢迎。但是饲养柯基犬并不容易，宠主必须做好思想准备，需要承受以下这些痛苦，你准备好了吗？

底盘低、腹部毛发容易脏

柯基最大的特点之一就是腿短身子长，走起路来萌萌哒。但正因为如此，它的底盘特别低，所以肚子下面的毛发很容易弄脏，尤其是遇到下雨天，所以建议有洁癖的人最好不要饲养柯基犬。

柯基犬常敌友不分

宠主们都希望自己的狗狗忠诚懂事，不会轻易被拐走，柯基犬在这方面可能要让你失望了！柯基犬性格友善、好奇心极强，常常敌友不分，对宠主很热情，对陌生人一样热情，失去看家功能，而且可能为了一点吃的就会被陌生人拐走了。建议饲养柯基犬的宠主做好拒食方面的训练，奖励它一些可口小零食，贪吃的柯基犬会更听话的！

骨骼脆弱

柯基的体型特征隐藏着健康隐患，柯基普遍偏胖，而且骨骼很脆弱，腿和脊椎承受着巨大的压力。宠主不要让柯基频繁地上下楼梯，或者做激烈的运动，很容易伤害到柯基的脊椎，严重时会造成瘫痪。所以宠主们在日常饲养的时候需要额外小心，遇到楼梯时需要扛起胖胖的柯基充当尽责的“人肉电梯”！

在选购狗粮时尽量选择一些含钙量高，高蛋白低脂肪的天然狗粮，让狗狗的骨头更加坚硬！

肠胃不好

柯基犬与二哈一样，肠胃都不是很好，只要一吃错东西，就很容易出现腹泻的情况，有时甚至还会虚脱，让宠主看着好心疼。所以在柯基的饮食上要注意清淡，尽量选择一些低盐低油、含益生菌的狗粮，平时还可以给它喂些蔬果，保护狗狗的肠胃健康。

运动量大

柯基是牧牛犬的血统，全名威尔士柯基犬，是一种精力充沛的小型工作犬。体型小小的柯基犬体内却居住着强悍且热爱自由的灵魂，根本不愿意被束缚，每天都需要很大的运动量来消耗旺盛的精力。而且柯基犬对所有的东西都充满好奇心，总是会这里闻闻，那里嗅嗅，所以宠主每天都需要抽时间带它散步。如果柯基精力过盛无处发泄，你家里的物品可就要遭殃了，回到家可能会看到被轰炸过的客厅、被啃坏的衣服和鞋子哟！

不要以为柯基犬小小只的，对声音的敏感就是神经质的程度，叫声真的是很厉害。门外有声音，叫！电话响了，叫！水开了，也叫！除了可能吵到左邻右舍，有时自己也会被吓到，住公寓的人一定要把这点想清楚哦！

掉毛比长毛犬还厉害

别看柯基属于短毛犬，掉毛程度甚至比长毛犬还厉害。柯基属于寒带犬拥有双层毛，毛量充足且厚重，外层毛粗硬有防水效果、内层毛发细软用来保暖，仿佛行动的蒲公英，每天都有掉毛的现象。

在换毛季的时候更是让宠主抓狂，家里四处都是毛、床底下是毛、沙发上下都是毛、连衣服上都有毛，有时还会吃到毛……也正因为毛发多，洗完澡也要花很多时间吹干。不过，掉毛这个缺点还是可以改善的，只要平时饮食清淡一点，多帮柯基犬梳梳毛就会好很多！

不服从宠主

虽然柯基犬的智商不低，但是它的服从性很差，脾气也比较倔，训练起来也是比较有难度的。宠主强制它们做一件事是很困难的，例如定点上厕所，每次吃完饭引导它去上厕所，都会以失败而告终……如果真的饲养了柯基，一定要在幼犬的时候就开始训练，等柯基长大了之后就很难再训练了。
