U.S. government employees working in Saudi Arabia require special authorization from Chief of Mission to use any airport in Saudi Arabia following recent missile and UAV attacks on airports in the Kingdom.
Operations at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh remain suspended. King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam are operational with some delays and cancellations.
U.S. citizens should be aware of potential attacks on airports, airspace closures, flight cancellations, and travel disruptions. Please take extreme caution if you choose to use airports in Saudi Arabia. We recommend checking your flight departure status directly with the airline and with the airport.

All land border crossings, including the King Fahd Causeway to Bahrain, remain operational. All highways and roads in and around Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dhahran remain operational.
International airports in neighboring countries of Bahrain (BAH), Jordan (AMM), Oman (MCT), Qatar (DOH), and the United Arab Emirates (AUH, DXB, SHJ) remain operational. Please confirm status directly with airports.
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior continues to warn that “filming, publishing, or sharing information related to counter missiles and drones, and their impact sites, exposes you to legal liability.” U.S. citizens have been detained for not adhering to these regulations, including taking photos of government buildings, airports, and impact sites. Visitors and residents are subject to local laws while in Saudi Arabia.

能源设施与机场接连遭袭

沙特能源部10月21日表示，防空系统在靠近阿联酋边境的沙伊巴（Shaybah）油田附近拦截一架无人机。坠落残骸造成两名外籍人员死亡、另有两人受伤。根据沙特方面披露的信息，死者分别为菲律宾籍及尼泊尔籍人员，油田生产运营未受影响。

沙特民航总局另证实，10月21日晚，东部城市达曼（Dammam）的法赫德国王国际机场遭袭，造成一人死亡、八人受伤，相关部门正在评估设施损毁情况。沙特方面将近期多起袭击归咎于胡塞武装。

首都利雅得的哈立德国王国际机场（King Khalid International Airport）此前也遭到严重袭击。澳大利亚广播公司10月13日报道称，相关袭击当时已造成至少12人死亡、300多人受伤，胡塞武装宣称对利雅得机场的袭击负责；美联社报道，10月21日已有少量沙特航空公司航班恢复起降，但国际航线仍受到大范围影响，机场尚未恢复正常运营。

澳洲发布最高级别旅行警告：请勿前往

澳大利亚政府Smartraveller网站显示，澳洲于10月16日将针对沙特阿拉伯的整体旅行建议提升至第四级，即最高级别“请勿前往”（Do Not Travel）。官方提醒澳洲公民推迟赴沙特旅行，包括宗教旅行，并特别警告利雅得机场及其他航空设施存在安全风险。航班取消、延误和空域临时关闭仍可能发生，旅客应在出发前向航空公司确认行程。澳洲政府还提醒，违反旅行建议可能影响保险保障，紧急情况下的领事协助也可能受到限制。
